Tech Love

So, finally I got myself a TV. It arrived yesterday, and I had a techno-orgasm as I rearranged my stuff a bit, and connected all the wires: I L-O-V-E this shit! It's standing there, nice and flat, not to big, and certainly not to flashy, but it is harnessing in its bosom all that I hold dear (all inorgaincs anyway); its a TV, which I hate to admit I need; it's connected to my iBook so now I can watch stuff and edit photos on a huuuge screen; it's connected to my new-old playstation so I can, for the first time Ever, play on my OWN consol.
And along with it came a new external hard drive for some much needed spatial expantion. It is now housed along with the old drive, the modem and router, inside my IKEA watcha-ma-callit table. I feel so good since that means i got loads of cables and wires out of the way.

I haven't been sleeping well lately. Bad/weird dreams throughout the night. For example (from tonight) being dragged along by a runaway tractor, finding out that my girlfriends baby (no we're not pregnant in real life.. i think) was fathered by Ghostface Killah from the Wu-Tan Clan. Dang! There was a lot more, but during the morning hours the memory of them has faded.
On the bright side, work is coming along ok. It feels good to be back after the vacation and I hope to achieve a lot this semester.
